Mark Falvey was raised and educated in Wellesley, MA, where he attended the public schools. He graduated from Georgetown University in 1988 and has lived in the Boston area for the last 20 years. He started his career in real estate in Buenos Aires, Argentina, working with diplomats and multinational executives. That first decade of his career was spent working and living in Argentina, Spain, and France, and eventually running the Latin American sales and marketing divisions of the Timberland and Rockport companies. Mark has spent the greater part of the last two decades running a global recruitment business where he has developed a keen understanding of clients’ and candidates’ needs, has had daily conversations about major life decisions and moves, and has negotiated and helped clients and candidates navigate these critical life events. In addition to having lived in the United States, Europe, and Latin America, he has also lived in Asia, specifically Suzhou, China between 2012 and 2014.
Mark has an intimate knowledge, history, and passion for Wellesley and the metro west, Boston, and the Cambridge/Somerville communities. He has deep personal experience regarding relocation and an innate understanding of moving to and acclimating to new communities. He speaks fluent Spanish and is proficient in French. Mark is an avid tennis player (he played collegiate tennis at Georgetown, has taught tennis around the world, and is a member and past Board Member of the Longwood Cricket Club), an art aficionado, and a global travel enthusiast. His community service work has been centered around the LGBT, Hospital, and Senior communities. Mark brings extensive negotiating experience, extreme professionalism, a keen awareness and sensitivity to confidentiality and discretion, and a sense of humor to his professional interactions.
He will be closely aligned with Jill Boudreau as part of her team and buyers and sellers will greatly benefit from the team’s collective professional experience and expertise.
